Brooks Is Ousted

The Montpelier Council votes four to two to remove Kevin Brooks, the village manager, effective immediately. Details are light, this is what we know. Apparently, the issue was brought forward during an emergency Council meeting last Tuesday. Then, on Sunday, during another meeting, the motion to remove Brooks as manager was voted on and approved. Both sides remain mum on exactly what happened. Jason Rockey was hired as assistant village manager in May.
