Brown Faces Charges

A man from Michigan is picked up in Indiana…following a high-speed chase in Ohio. George Brown had a felony warrant for his arrest on a charge of absconding. Officers from the Montpelier Police Department, Edon Police Department and Williams County Sheriff’s Office worked together in the car chase. Brown is eventually stopped near Butler, where he was taken into custody. A 13-year-old passenger in the vehicle was unharmed and referred to Indiana Children’s Services. The case remains under investigation and will be referred to the Williams County Prosecutor’s Office.
