Bruce Stephens, 54

Bruce A. Stephens, age 54, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at St. Joe Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bruce was formerly a Supervisor at Edge Plastics and Johnson Controls. He enjoyed racing Street Stocks at Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Michigan and other local tracks with his nephew, Brad Crose. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, friends and three dogs.

Bruce A. Stephens was born on December 16, 1959, in Willard, Ohio, the son of Kenneth & Alberta (Sexton) Stephens. He married Tammy S. Caryer on April 6, 2013, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Caleb and Heath Stephens, both of Shilo, Ohio; daughter, Amber Stephens, of Shilo; stepsons, Robert and Mathew Coker, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Ryan Coker, of Bryan; two grandchildren; his parents, Kenneth and Alberta Stephens, of Shilo, sisters, Darlene Tackett, of Shelby, Ohio, Penny (Ted) Zachariah, of Hartford City, Indiana, Sherry (Shannon) Perry, of Mansfield, Ohio; brother, David (Linda) Stephens, of Shilo; many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews and a special niece, Maddie Crose and special friends, Shawn, Tiffany and Kyla Fox and Kirk and Lori Wanstedt and Brant Hall, all of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur (Molly) Stephens and Chester (Gertrude) Sexton; sisters, Kimmie and Christine Stephens, a granddaughter, Tori Stephens and a nephew, Marcuz Perez.

Funeral services for Bruce will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 5:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Paul Collins officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00-5:00 P.M., prior to the service.
