Shooting In Defiance

A shoot­ing Tues­day after­noon in Defi­ance is under inves­ti­ga­tion by Defi­ance Police.

Accord­ing to a press release issued last evening, offi­cers were called just before 4:30 yes­ter­day after­noon to 617 Bunn Drive where a man was found with a gun­shot wound to his chest.

Police say both that man and a woman were taken to area hos­pi­tals, and the man was later trans­ferred by air ambu­lance to Toledo Hos­pi­tal. No names have been released. Police say it may have been con­nected to a domes­tic dis­pute, but the whole thing is still under inves­ti­ga­tion by both Defi­ance Police and the Defi­ance County Sheriff’s Office.
