The Bryan Area Foundation had its semi-annual meeting yesterday and pronounced the foundation in excellent financial condition. The chairman, Chip Wood, revealed that the assets are now 22 million dollars, and that will allow the foundation to give out nearly 700 thousand dollars in future scholarships and grants. IN 45 years the foundation has distributed 8 million dollars to the community. The foundation offices are moving to the back of the Shultz Huber building on East High Street in December and it will host an open house in January.
