The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approves the 2024 Bryan Municipal Utilities budget, while asking council do the same at its next meeting. BMU Director of Utilities, Derek Schultz said the overall budget is down about 3% from last year and is $26.1 million dollars, compared to $26.9 million last year. Along with the budget, BPA approved a couple of transfers that go along with it. One was $2.2 million dollars for future electrical capital improvement purposes, while another was for $350,000…for future water capital improvement purposes.
