Bryan Munic­i­pal Util­i­ties’ pro­jected bud­get for 2014 is greater than $1 mil­lion below the 2013 bud­get.

The announce­ment came on Tues­day, and it was wel­come news.

The utility’s total pro­jected bud­get for 2014 is $28,321,383.

The Times reports that works out to $1,024,815 less than the 2013 bud­get of $29,346,198.
