Bryan City Council approves mutual aid agreements with a couple of townships.

Bryan City Council has approved several mutual aid agreements with a couple of townships and the county commissioners on behalf of the city fire department. Council approved agreements for mutual aid or fire protection services for 2026 with Pulaski Township in the amount of $49,500 and with Jefferson Township in the amount of $12,000. Bryan Fire Chief Doug Pool pointed out the Bryan Fire Department covers about one-third of the area for Jefferson Township and that is how its rate is calculated.
