Bryan city swimming pools now open

The Bryan city pools opened June 9 and the warm weather this past week means attendance has been good so far, said longtime pool manager Tom Dominique. As it was last year, the two city pools are open on an alternating-day schedule. The East End Pool on E. High St., is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The Moore Park Pool on Oakwood Ave, is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The change was made due to the lack of enough lifeguards to staff both pools at the same time, but it’s worked out, so the city is continuing it, according to Dominique.
