Bryan City Council approved a collective bargaining agreement Monday night for city firefighters. The agreement is with the International Association of Firefighters Local 5243. The agreement calls for a $1 per hour increase for firefighters this year, along with a 4% wage adjustment. Firefighters will then receive a 3% increase each year in both 2026 and 2027. The negotiations began in October and were completed in February, and the union has since reviewed, signed and approved the agreement.
