Bryan fire ends in total loss

A fire in Bryan on Thursday morning destroyed a home on County Road 17. The house was heavily involved when crews arrived and firefighters from Edgerton, Ney, Montpelier, Stryker, and Brady Township assisted. A total of 56 firefighters were involved. The home, the garage and all of the contents were a total loss. Fire Chief Bruce Siders says at this point, they believe the fire was accidental.
