Bryan police getting reports of Christmas decorations being stolen

Someone has been stealing Christmas decorations around Bryan since Sunday, and whoever it is has upped his or her game. The Bryan Times reports at 7:16 a.m. Tuesday, an employee of Father John’s Brewing Company, 232 S. Union St., reported someone stole a flood light from the premises and later that evening, a resident in the 1000 block of Colonial Lane reported someone had swiped the baby Jesus from her Nativity scene. Previous thefts include a Christmas wreath from a front door on Jordan Drive and a peacock lawn ornament with blue lights from outside a Bellaire Avenue home. Two other houses on Bellaire have been struck since Sunday, as well as a home on Old Farm Trail in the Bona Vesta subdivision. Anyone with information regarding the thefts or who has observed suspicious activity is asked to call the Bryan Police Department.
