New drivers being trained by ODOT for winter weather

Snow plows and brine don’t necessarily predict foul weather. Ohio Department of Transportation plows were out and about Wednesday and brine – a saltwater solution often used to de-ice roadways – was noticeable on major highways last week. However, that does not mean that incliment weather is imminent, according to ODOT District 2 Public Information Officer Theresa Pollick. The department was on the roads training new drivers for when bad weather does hit northwest Ohio.
