The City of Bryan is expected to pursue damages against a Bluffton-based company after installation of a pedestrian pathway at Recreation Park took about eight weeks longer to complete than what was initially expected. City council voted at its regular meeting not to approve a change order amending the project’s “substantial and final completion date” to Sept. 19. The project, which involved creation of an eight-foot-wide concrete pathway from the tennis courts to Field Five at the park, was awarded to D&F Enterprise LLP in late May.
