Bud Hahn, 58

Rolland E. “Bud” Hahn, 58 years, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at home after battling liver cancer.  Rolland was born on October 13, 1954 in Defiance, Ohio, the son of Rolland and Lillian Virginia (Snyder) Hahn.  He attended Tinora High School.  Rolland was employed by Thomas E. Keller Trucking Inc.  He was a long-time member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233, Bryan.  Rolland found great enjoyment in fishing, gardening, listening to music and traveling.

Survivors include his fiancée Jennifer McCarty of Bryan; two daughters, Shannon Hahn-Wallace and Erin Hahn, both of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Lucien Hahn-Wallace, Ladini Wallace and Kaden Hahn; six sisters, Patricia Ort of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Karen (Jim) Schroeder of Ney, Sherry (George) Phillips of Ney, Debra Fabisch of Clear Lake, California, Pamela Smith of Bastrop, Texas, Penny (Andy) Shininger of Ney; three brothers, Matthew Hahn of Defiance, Timothy Hahn of Ney and Brian Hahn of Defiance along with 29 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Helen (Rath) Hahn; one daughter, Cecilia Ann Hahn; stepbrother, David Rath and two brothers-in-law, Dwayne Ort and Joe Smith.

There will be no visitation and private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio.
