Buddy J. Statz, 69

Buddy J. Stantz, age 69, of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his home.  Buddy worked as a tire service technician with Isaac Tire in Bryan for 28 years before his retirement.  He enjoyed yard work, muscle cars, hot rods and watching Westerns.

Buddy J. Stantz was born on October 21, 1954, in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Cleo C. “Buck” and Marie (Ensman) Stantz. He married Linda L. Conley on June 3, 1973 in Columbia and she survives.

Buddy is also survived by his daughter, Heather (Jeremy) Lowrie, of Stryker; son, Trevor (Justine) Stantz, of Bryan; 5 grandchildren, Jesse, Sully, Angela, Salem and Natalie; sister, Rose Kelley, of Montpelier; brothers, Larry Stantz, of Bryan, Curtis (Yvonda) Stantz, of Spring Lake, Michigan and Jack (Sami) Stantz, of Sherwood and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheila Finchum and brother, Al Stantz.

Visitation for Buddy will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Edon Cemetery with Pastor Scott Chambers officiating.
