Busy Early Voting

Early vot­ing in Ohio is only less than a week in, yet many local boards of elec­tions are report­ing voter turnout to be on pace with pre­vi­ous elec­tion years.

EArly vot­ing began last Tuesday,a nd the polls will remain open over the next three weeks. The last day of in-person early vot­ing is Nov. 3, the day before the gen­eral elec­tion.

Offi­cials with the Defi­ance County Board of Elec­tions, reported good num­bers of in-office early vot­ers.

Offi­cials in Henry County have reported a steady turnout of early vot­ers so far as well, as have offi­cials in Put­nam, Williams, and Ful­ton Coun­ties.

Of the six coun­ties locally, Pauld­ing County has recorded the least num­ber of early vot­ers, at about 800.
