Car Break In Leads To Crash

A car thief in Steuben County ends up with injuries. Officials say Jaden Lohr-Javins took the SUV from a Golden Lake Road address. During the initial investigation, officers spot the vehicle with the suspect behind the wheel. As officers were catching up to the suspected thief, he loses control of the vehicle, leaves the roadway…and smashes into a utility pole…knocking out power in the surrounding area for a time. The 14 year old Clyde boy was treated and released from an area hospital. The investigation continues.
