Wapakoneta City Schools has a new leader. The board hired Archbold Schools Superintendent, Aaron Rex for the superintendent post there. Rex began his teaching career at Wapakoneta and was high school principal there for several years. He begins his new position in August.

No One Hurt In US 20 Accident

A multi car crash on US 20 east of Flint Road shut down the roadway for two hours. The Angola Fire Department was among the first responders sent to the scene. State and local investigators are canvassing the area, looking for answers after the crash. No one was hurt.

ITR Crash Stalls Traffic

An accident on the Indiana toll road ties up traffic in both directions for a time…as far as five miles in both directions at around the 145 mile marker, just east of the Angola-Fremont exit. No word on injuries as local investigators look over the crash.

OD Leads To Charges

Several face charges for the overdose death of a Findlay woman. Prosecutors say Anthony Whitiker sold the drugs to Danielle Rice and Dawn Johns. They also add a third person, Desirae Bright, helped Whitiker dispose of the body. Rice was found dead at a Township Road address back in February.

A New Sidewalk For The Park

Recreation Park in Bryan will have a new sidewalk before August. City Council okayed a $112,220 contract with D&F Enterprise, of Bluffton, to start construction after July Fourth. It will extend from the tennis courts to Field five. The Bryan Area Foundation helped out, directing $75,000 towards the project.
