Defiance Firefighters were called to a rural Defiance County home early yesterday morning for a garage fire that spread to the nearby home at 20669 Powers Road. According to the Defiance County Auditor’s Office website, the residence is owned by Aaron Davis.

Two people were arrested in separate incidents for drunk driving. Just after 1 a.m. Sunday, 38-year-old Brandi Dickerson of Stryker was arrested for OVI. About 90 minutes later, Bryan police arrested 22-year-old Shane Gaghen of Oregon for OVI. Both were booked and released.
