Concerns about school closing are unfounded

Parents and staff were at the Defiance County Board of Developmental Disabilities meeting this week, worried that Good Samaritan School is closing. Board President Tom Weber reiterated the school is not closing. He explained that despite the rumor circulating on social media, the school will not close. A levy will go before voters in November of 2017, which he says is important to keep the school going. Weber told the large group they would do a better job of communicating with parents and staff
