Hunters checked 22,366 white-tailed deer on Monday, the opening day of Ohio’s deer-gun hunting season, that’s according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. In Fulton County, 101 deer were harvested compared to 79 in 2016. Ohio’s deer-gun season remains open through Sunday.
