Bryan man arrested on rape charge at Meadow Creek Apts

A Bryan man was arrested Friday on a rape charge. Police say 19-year-old Grant Schneider was arrested Friday morning just before 2 a.m. after a neighbor complained about loud noises and crying coming from an apartment at Meadow Creek Apartments. Police took Schneider to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

Man charged with rape in Defiance County

The grand jury in Defiance County has handed down several indictments. A man is charged with rape after meeting an 18-year-old through social media and showing up at her home where she was attacked. 21-year-old Rian Barton is facing two counts of rape, aggravated burglary and sexual battery.

Hicksville woman accused of identity theft

A Hicksville woman is facing charges for identity fraud. 27-year-old April Shugars allegedly stole credit cards from a victim and used their personal information to obtain over $1,000. The indictment says the alleged crimes occurred between December and February.
