Montpelier is been approached by a company that wants to build a nearly 200 foot tall cell tower near Depot Street and the rail road tracks.
Village Manager Pam Lucas told Williams County commissioners yesterday that the engineering firm CTL Engineering from Columbus that wants to build a tower for Verizon to improve cell phone reception in and around the village.
The village is interested in selling the property to CTL engineering for $62,500 saying they would prefer not to lease or rent out that site.
