Central Local Schools hire new athletic director.

Central Local Schools Board of Education hired a new athletic director at its meeting Monday night. The board hired Scott Heighland of Sherwood as athletic director/dean of students for the 2025-26 school year, and approved an interim contract for him to serve as acting athletic director/dean of students effective July 1-July 31, prior to the start of his three-year contract, which takes effect Aug. 1.
