A hearing was held this week for an Orland man who police say is charged in connection with a fatal traffic accident on August 22nd near Hudson. 24-year-old Noe Munoz-Rubio is facing a felony charge of O.W.I. Causing Death and also Driving While Suspended and Speeding. State Police in Indiana say the crash happened on State Road 4. They say a vehicle driven by Munoz-Rubio went off the road, hit a tree and rolled over. His passenger, 24-year-old Christopher Hatch of Kendallville, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by a coroner. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for November 16th.
