Charles L. Kaduk, 81, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, in his residence. Charles was born October 18, 1943, in Van Wert, Ohio, son of the late Frank J. and Betty Joe (Houston) Kaduk. He was a 1961 graduate of Van Wert High School in Van Wert, Ohio. Charles continues his education attaining his bachelor’s degree from Indiana Tech in 1972. Charles married Deborah S. Chaffins on March 12, 1974, in Auburn, and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2024. Charles served his country in the United States Army, until his honorable discharge. Charles was a Senior Design Engineer for United Technologies for 27 years, ending his employment in 1999. He then worked for SCP Limited in Auburn finally retiring in 2011. Charles enjoyed photography, was an avid bowler and golfer, and he enjoyed doing yardwork. What he truly loved was time spent with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his two children, Charles P. (Greta Sirois) Kaduk of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Tracey (David Athey) Rittenberg of Albion, Indiana; three grandchildren, Brandon Rittenberg, Alex Rittenberg and Dahra Sirois; one brother, Paul Kaduk of Thousand Oaks, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Deborah.
To honor Charles’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services held at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton, Indiana 46742.
