Officers in Ashley catch a suspect after a chase gets up to 90 mph. The pursuit ends with the suspect’s van smashing into a pole in town. Danny Rhudy, of Orland, then fled on foot through a wooded area. As he emerged from the woods, two Ashley officers took him into custody. Rhudy is charged with resisting arrest. Power was knocked out in the area for about 2 hours, due to the collision with the utility pole.
