Chester John Prymicz, age 87, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare in Bryan, Ohio. Mr. Prymicz was a mule driver at Doehler-Jarvis for nearly 40 years. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Polish National Alliance.
Chester John Prymicz was born June 20, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of John and Caroline (Babiarz) Prymicz. He married Hazel L. Beaty and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Susan Kraske, of Hartford, Wisconsin; son, Steven (Traci) Suchocki of Edgerton, Ohio, grandchildren, Caroline, Jeffry, Mary and Steven James; great-grandchildren, John, Joshua and Evalynn; nephew, William G. (Karen) Prymicz, of Millbury, Ohio; niece, Carolyn (Ervin) Livingston, of Toledo and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Daniel Suchocki; great-granddaughter, Sarah Nicole Wrubbel and brothers, Walter, John and Stanley Prymicz.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Entombment at Toledo Memorial Park will follow the service. Military rites will be accorded by the Bryan VFW Post #2489.
