Children’s Lantern Golf Outing has openings

A fundraiser for Children’s Lantern, a non-profit group dedicated to freeing victims of human trafficking, feed children and support foster and adoptive parents and children, will be June 25 at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance. The sixth annual Golf Outing begins with registration on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m., and tee times at 8 a.m. The outing is raising money to pay for administrative costs. Other fundraisers throughout the year go directly to the program. The cost to play is $80 per player/$320 per team. Entry fees include green fees, a cart and a catered lunch by Sweetwater Chophouse. It’s an 18-hole scramble, with several hole contests and prizes. For more info, go to childrenslantern.org.
