Christmas Cruise Thru open in Hicksville.

Visitors of the Christmas Cruise Thru already are cruising the Defiance County Fairgrounds. In its 11th year, the Cruise Thru has become an annual event drawing more than 90,000 people to see the myriad of Christmas lights and displays at the fairgrounds at 530 S. Main St. in Hicksville. This year, the Cruise Thru will feature more than 3.5 million lights with synchronized musical accompaniment arranged in a 2.5-mile course, and will be open daily from 6-9 p.m. through Dec. 29.
