Mercy Health-Defiance Hospital will be the scene today for what the company calls a first annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The event is planned from 5:30-7 p.m. tonight outside Mercy’s Defiance location at 400 E. Second St. in Defiance where a 16-foot artificial tree will be lit up for the holiday season.
