We are now finding out a Williams County deputy was grazed by a bullet from his own weapon last month. It was an accident. Apparently, the officer had problems getting the firing pin back in the weapon properly. Two shots went through his patrol car door, injuring the officer’s arm. The deputy will receive a written reprimand but will stay on duty as well.
