Collazo Does Hard Time For A Few Dollars

A man who robbed a gas station on Defiance’s eastside earlier this year is sentenced to prison. Julio Collazo was given a 10-year term for aggravated robbery and assault. He had entered guilty pleas to the charges on May 26. He will be eligible for early judicial release after serving five years of his sentence. Collazo robbed the Shell Party Mart on E. Second St…using a handgun on March 11. Collazo fled the scene with $83…and was apprehended soon after.
