Combine Fires Reported

Accord­ing to emer­gency offi­cials, two com­bines caught fire in the area on Mon­day after­noon.

The first fire was put out by the Edon-Florence Town­ship Fire Depart­ment just after 1:30 yes­ter­day after­noon. It hap­pened on County Road 2 south of County Road H.

Then, less than an hour later, the Stryker Fire Depart­ment was called out to a com­bine fire just before 2:30 yes­ter­day after­noon at 02858 Ohio 191.

In both cases, nobody was hurt.
