Courthouse renovation begins

Here’s an update on the Defiance County Courthouse renovation. The general contractor E. Lee Construction has started with the scaffolding around the clock tower. They are preparing the exterior for the repairs that are budgeted to cost $1.46 million. The project should last through most of the year, about nine months. Next week, a crew will begin to work on the roof.
