COURTHOUSE UPDATE

On again, off again, now it’s on again.

The possible renovation of Defiance County’s courthouse that is.

A seven-member committee looking into the courthouse’s future decided to revisit the project during a meeting Wednesday afternoon in the county commissioners’ office.

The meeting this week comes more than a month after the same committee effectively had nixed the entire proposal.

As for building a new courthouse though, the committee still believes that would be too expensive.
