Crash After Police Stop

A man is seriously hurt when he crashes after a traffic stop in Fort Wayne. Officers spotted a speeding car at Maumee and Glasgow avenues. After stopping for police, the driver sped off before losing control at Maumee and Edsall…rolling several times. Mark Bieker, the driver, got out of the car and ran before collapsing a short distance away. He was taken from the scene, badly hurt. Alcohol appears to be a factor. The vehicle was stolen from Adams County…criminal charges are pending.
