Troopers with the Defiance post of the Ohio Highway Patrol are investigating
A three-vehicle on Tuesday evening about 7:35 p.m. in Delaware Township happened when a truck driven by Michael Bittinger crashed into a semi driven by 32-year-old David Covell of Blissfield, Michigan. It happened at Ohio 18 and Bend Road in Defiance County’s. 39-year-old Christopher Owens of Adrian, Michigan then struck debris that fell from Covell’s semi. Bittinger was transported by Delaware Township Fire Department to ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.
