Crash In DKC

The northbound lanes of I-69 in DeKalb County. just south of Steuben County are closed for a time…after a semi catches fire. Officials tell reporters…the driver of the big rig was near the mile marker 340 interchange…when he realized smoke was coming from the trailer after a tire had gone flat. He pulled over to the shoulder…the trailer then caught fire. The driver unhooked the tractor from the trailer…as crews arrived to put it out. The driver was not hurt…no other vehicles were involved. State and local officials are handling the post-crash investigation.
