CSX Derailment

A CSX train derailed ear­lier this week in the vil­lage of Ham­ler.

Offi­cials with the Ohio Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion say the derail­ment hap­pened between 11 p.m. and mid­night Tues­day and 10–12 cars were involved.

The cars were haul­ing grain and noth­ing was spilled.

Roads and tracks in the area were shut down while crews cleaned up after the accident.
