Cub Scout Leader Charged With Theft

A Wauseon woman has been indicted by a Ful­ton County grand jury for con­vert­ing money from a Cub Scout pack to her own use.

42 year old Kathryn Fau­verr was charged fol­low­ing a four week inves­ti­ga­tion by police who say she embezzeled more than $1500 from Cub Scout Pack 8’s funds for her own use when she served as the pack’s trea­surer.

The crime is a felony and car­ries a pos­si­ble sen­tence of 5 years in prison, a $2,500 fine, or both.
