DC Crash Ends In Serious Injuries

Two people are injured in a motorcycle crash in Defiance County. Shawn Theis, of Cecil, was riding south on Canal Road when he went off the south side of Powers Road. Theis and his passenger, Thelma Bowers, of Paulding, were thrown from the motorcycle. Both were seriously hurt and flown to a hospital in Toledo. No word on their condition since. Officials are looking into the crash.
