Officers are investigating a fatal crash on Airport Highway, near Crissey Road in Springfield Township. They say a pickup truck was westbound on Airport, when the driver, Steven Robinson of Swanton, suffered a possible medical emergency. Robinson’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, smashing into an utility pole, before coming to rest against a tree. Robinson was declared dead at the scene by emergency personnel. State and local officials are working together in the case.
