Deadly Crash On 24

A crash on U.S. 24 near Interstate 469 left two people dead and another in critical condition. Police responded to the accident involving an SUV and a semitruck. An investigation showed the SUV was traveling eastbound on 24 and was slowed in traffic. Officials say the two occupants in the SUV died at the scene. A third occupant was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the big rig was not injured. The crash closed part of the highway while police investigated.
