Dealers sued for not getting titles to car owners

Four Indiana auto dealers are being sued by the state for not getting titles to new vehicle owners. One of the dealerships in Fort Wayne is Anycredit Auto Superstore on West Jefferson Blvd. We’re told all four dealerships are out of business. The suit alleges the dealerships didn’t get the titles to the owners, which made it impossible for them to get their own tags, plus misrepresenting the price of vehicles and failing to perform repairs it said it would. Last year, the Indiana Attorney General’s office says they received over 1,300 such complaints.
