Dealy In Water Plant Seems Likely

It now appears that there will be a delay in con­struc­tion of a new water treat­ment plant for Henry County.

The Board of Pub­lic Affairs learned Mon­day night, there will be dia­log with the Army Corp of Engi­neers, and the Ohio EPA, as both agen­cies are inves­ti­gat­ing whether a wet­lands exists on the pro­posed site of the water plant along road 14-B north of the bypass in Napoleon.

Any delay could push back com­ple­tion of the project by 6 months to a year.
