December was one of the warmest on record

It wasn’t your imag­i­na­tion or wish­ful think­ing, Decem­ber was one of the warmest ever on record. The aver­age daily high tem­per­a­ture was 48.7 degrees, 13 degrees warmer than the year before. We had 4 days over 60 degrees, and two weeks of temps over 50. There was no sig­nif­i­cant snowfall.
