Defiance barn fire does heavy damage

Firefighters from Jewell, Ridgeville Township and South Richland converged on a large barn fire on Monday that did extensive damage on Flory Road in Defiance County. The blaze was reported about 2:45 p.m. and it took firefighters about four hours to clear. The property is owned by Rebecca and David Bockelman.
