The area’s two institutions of higher learning – Defiance College and Northwest State Community College – will hold commencement ceremonies Saturday afternoon. DC’s will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Karl H. Weaner Community Center on the college campus while NSCC plans to hold its ceremony at 2 p.m. that day at Sauder Village’s Founder’s Hall in Archbold. Some 97 students are scheduled to receive diplomas Saturday from Defiance College.
